Whether it’s a series on negotiating your next salary or a project tour of a local design gem, AWA+D mixes up experiences, locations and specialists to bring members informative programming throughout the year.
One of the hallmarks of our efforts is providing mentoring experiences for students, recent graduates and early and mid-career professionals. Mentoring events occur throughout the year and consist of one-on-one matchmaking, small-group Q&A and broader roundtables. We also host a monthly salon series, an informal gathering that explores mentoring and professional development topics.
Our membership benefits include access to a wide range of programming that advocates for the needs of women in our profession, and a network of like-minded individuals who offer support. We also support special initiatives that bring women together on causes ranging from male: female parity within firm structures to writing more women into history via Wikipedia.
